Resources Law Group’s work in conservation real estate includes representing nonprofit organizations, for-profit entities, and private individuals in conservation-focused real estate transactions. Our attorneys have extensive experience structuring, negotiating, and documenting all aspects of these transactions. We provide conservation, transactional, and drafting advice to clients on all types of fee acquisition and easement projects.

Through these efforts, we help protect conservation values—wildlife habitat, open space, agriculture, timber, and working landscapes—throughout California and the West. We work closely with local, state, and federal agencies, as well as with private funding sources, to structure and coordinate financing for conservation projects, draft and negotiate grant agreements, and coordinate approvals.
